How long does the entire experience take and what is the pricing?
Our experience takes approximately 45 minutes per person. Groups 8 guests and larger 60/90 minutes.
Custom candle making pricing ranges from $30- $65+ tax depending on the size and style of the vessel.
The price includes everything that goes into creating your custom scent blend!
PS: we have a candle refill program: bring back your vessel and make a new fragrance for discounted prices!
When can I pick up my candles after creating them?
Candles take 2-3 hours to cool and can be picked up the next business day or another day that is convenient, or we can ship them for an additional fee.
While your candles are cooling, it’s the perfect time to explore other shops in uptown, grab some food, maybe a coffee or a DORA drink and have fun!
What parking options are available?
We have a parking lot behind our shop and adjacent to it. Street parking is also available.
Do I need to make a reservation, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome based on availability, but we encourage reservations, especially for groups of 6 and up. If you need anything outside of our business hours, please reach out, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
What are your candles made of, and why are they special?
Our candles are hand-poured in our studio using 100% soy and coconut wax blended with non-toxic fragrance (no paraffin, no black soot). Our luxury wax is a natural, renewable, using US-grown indgredients that burns clean, while filling your room with the perfect amount of fragrance every time.
Are your fragrances safe and non-toxic?
Absolutely! Our fragrances are a blend of natural essential oils and non-toxic fragrances. Our fragrance oils are phthalate-free, paragon free, and free from carcinogens and mutagens.
Who can enjoy your experiences?
Our experiences are ideal for date nights, family gatherings, multi-generational outings, groups of girlfriends and couples, bridal parties, corporate groups and incentives, client thank-you gifts, and more. Visitors can book special group and private experiences anytime. Make a Reservation!
Can I bring in drinks?
During business hours, we are DORA friendly! (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area). Grab a cocktail, beer, or glass of wine from your favorite bar or restaurant within walking distance in Uptown. Bring to our studio and sip while you create your custom fragrance!
We offer a non-alcoholic beverage menu, available for purchase in the studio.
Alcoholic beverages from home are not allowed. No outside food.

What products can I customize?
Create your own custom scented candles, flameless reed diffusers, whipped sugar scrub, foaming hand soap, or perfume rollerball: pricing ranges $30-$65+ tax depending on size/style & product.

Refill Program
After your candle has been burned, bring it back to our studio & create a new fragrance for a discount or upcycle and repurpose your vessel at home!
Leave the rest to us, we clean out and put new wicks in your vessel.
Candle Care
Soy Coconut Wax Candles:
To get the best life out of your candle + burn safely, please remember the following:
The candle wick should always be trimmed to ¼ inch + centered before lighting. Keep those wicks trimmed for a clean, even burn.
Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface.
Always keep the wax burn pool free of debris.
Never leave a lit candle unattended.
Keep out of reach from children and pets.
Burn your candle no longer than 4 hours at a time.
Keep your candle away from drafts, fans, and high traffic areas.
Extinguish your candle if it smokes, flickers, or has a large flame. Trim soot from wick before relighting.
Discontinue use when there is ¼ inch of wax left. Bring your jar back to Blend and REFILL for a discount.
Pro tip: Candles have a memory burn. Always burn the candle to the outer rim of jar the first time you light your candle! This will ensure your candle burns even.

Reed Diffusers:
Our reed diffusers are a perfect fragrance option that is flameless. We recommend using these in a bedroom, half bathroom, and office for a subtle lingering fragrance all day long.
Pro tip: Flip your rattan reed sticks every week to refresh the fragrance burst. Alternatively, flip over a few sticks daily if you desire a stronger burst. When you need a refresh, return for REFILL + discount.
Whipped Sugar Scrub:
- Apply the scrub: Scoop out a small amount of the whipped sugar scrub and apply it to damp skin/hands.
- Exfoliate gently: Use your fingertips to massage the scrub onto your skin in circular motions and create a lather with the whipped formula.
- Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the scrub off with warm water.
- Pat dry: Pat your skin dry with a clean towel
- Smile: You’re left with super soft, moisturized, + lovely scented skin.
Pro Tip: Our sugar scrub can be used for hands and body, but we recommend using it to pamper your hands for the best experience.
