How long does the entire experience take and what is the pricing?
Experience Overview
Our custom candle-making experience typically takes about 45 minutes per person.
Pricing
Candle making prices range from $30 to $60, depending on the size and style of the vessel. We also offer a variety of other creative experiences, including:
Perfume making
Reed diffusers (for a flameless option)
Foaming hand soap
Whipped sugar scrub
Lotions & body oils (coming this spring!)
The price covers everything needed to create your personalized scent blend, including all materials.
Candle Refill Program
Love your candle? Bring back your vessel and make a refill at a discounted price!
When can I pick up my candles after creating them?
Candle Cooling & Pickup
After creating your custom candle, it will take about 2-3 hours to cool. You can pick it up the next business day or another day that’s convenient for you. We also offer shipping for an additional fee.
While your candle is cooling, why not go for a stroll? Explore Otterbein University, browse the unique shops in Uptown, grab a bite to eat, and discover the hidden gems of our vibrant community!
What parking options are available?

We offer free parking behind our shop and in the adjacent lot. Street parking is also available. For added convenience, download the Westerville Parking app to find nearby spots easily!
Do I need to make a reservation, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are always welcome based on availability, but we recommend making a reservation—especially for groups of six or more—to ensure the best experience.

Sunday: 12 PM – 5 PM
Closed Monday & Tuesday — but feel free to reach out with special requests!
We also host private events on Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as after hours on regular business days. If you’re interested in booking a private event or need accommodations outside of our posted hours, just let us know—we’re happy to help!
What are your candles made of, and why are they special?
Our candles are hand-poured in our studio using 100% soy and coconut wax (no paraffin, no chemical amplifiers). All fragrances are scent designed in house. Our wax is a natural, renewable, and US-grown product that burns cleanly with little to no soot while filling a room with the perfect amount of fragrance.
Can I buy premade candles?
Yes! Looking for something quick and easy? You can shop our curated selection of premade candles—perfect for a grab-and-go moment, whether you’re treating yourself or picking up a thoughtful gift.
Our online store is coming soon, making it even easier to browse and buy your favorites from anywhere.
Are your fragrances safe and non-toxic?
Absolutely! Our scents are a blend of natural essential oils and non-toxic fragrances. Our fragrance oils are phthalate-free and free from carcinogens and mutagens.

Who can enjoy your experiences?
Our experiences are ideal for date nights, family gatherings, multi-generational outings, groups of girlfriends and couples, bridal parties, corporate groups and incentives, client thank-you gifts, and more. Visitors can book special group and private experiences anytime. Make a Reservation!
Can I bring in drinks?
During our business hours, we are DORA-friendly (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area)! Enjoy a cocktail, beer, or glass of wine from any of the bars or restaurants within walking distance in Uptown, and feel free to bring it to our studio while you create your custom fragrance.
We also offer a selection of non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase in the studio.
Please note: Alcoholic beverages from home are not permitted, and outside food is not allowed.
